Strong Cooperation Steps from Yeşim Group towards Sustainable Development Goals
Organized under the leadership of Yeşim Group and hosted by SEGER, the workshop titled “Global Goals Journey of Companies: Right Objective, Right Partner” workshop was held on December 13th. The workshop aimed to strengthen the cooperation of the private sector and non-governmental organizations in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and discussed the importance of setting the right goals and establishing effective partnerships. The workshop was moderated by Uludağ University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Rüyam Küçüksüleymanoğlu, while SEGER General Manager Mine Tuna and Sustainability Manager Eren Jale Yörükoğlu shared their projects with the participants.
In the opening speech of the event, Dilek Cesur, Corporate Communications Director of Yeşim Group, shared the steps taken towards sustainability and drew attention to the positive effects of collaborations on society. Cesur stated that they aim to raise awareness of sustainability and create greater impact by regularizing the workshops. At the event, which underlined the importance of establishing the right objectives and partnerships for the needs of the society, the participants exchanged ideas on social responsibility and sustainability projects.
Within the scope of such events, Yeşim Group continues to raise awareness not only in the business world but also at the social level in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and to pioneer concrete steps towards these goals.
