Yeşim’s adventure began exactly 75 years ago, when Şükrü Şankaya came to Türkiye from Greece. This adventure is the story of how a sapling planted in 1983 turned into a mighty plane tree today.
Since then, Yeşim has positioned itself as a strategic production partner of global brands. The Group’s Almaxtex central production facility in Bursa continues to produce apparel and home textiles with more than 4 thousand employees on a total area of 326 thousand square meters, including 144 thousand square meters of covered area and 182 thousand square meters of open area.
Yeşim has become a global player by expanding to the world from Bursa, the textile capital of Türkiye. Its success in production has made Yeşim a strategic partner of global brands such as Nike in apparel and Matheis - Schlafgut in home textile. Other brands produced by Yeşim include Under Armour, Zara, Pull&Bear, Bershka, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Kappa, Polo Ralph Lauren, and many other well-known brands.
This story went beyond the borders of Türkiye with the start of production in Moldova in the early 2000s and Yeşim achieved a strong position in the international arena with production facilities established in 3 different cities in Egypt since 2008. Thus, Yeşim became a global brand.
The foundations of Yeşim were laid with the goal of creating value in society as well as production. In this journey that started with the philosophy of “People First”, first the second generation and then the third generation continued to keep these values alive and strengthen them.

On the other hand, Yeşim, which stands out especially with its support for women’s employment, fulfilled an important mission for the inclusion of women in working life by carrying the idea of Yeşim Kindergarten, which was established in 1988 at Almaxtex, the Bursa headquarters factory, to its facilities abroad in the following years. In addition to this, Yeşim has also become one of the exemplary organizations in Türkiye with its projects for women’s empowerment in business life.
Yeşim has also carried out many successful works in cooperation with the non-governmental organizations of which it is a stakeholder.
