Yeşim brings hope to stray animals

 

Yeşim Group and Yıldırım Municipality signed a project that transforms food waste into food for stray animals. Within the scope of the "Zero Waste Cooperation Protocol" signed between the two institutions, Yeşim Group's food waste is sent to the food facility operated by the Yıldırım Municipality Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate to produce food for stray animals. This cooperation aims to utilize food waste and increase environmental awareness.

In announcing the project, Mayor of Yıldırım Municipality Oktay Yılmaz and Yeşim Group CEO Şenol Şankaya emphasized the importance of reducing environmental impact and improving the living conditions of stray animals. Wishing the protocol to be an example for other businesses, Yılmaz stated that efforts will continue for a sustainable environment. Şankaya stated that this cooperation is an important step in creating environmental and social benefits.
