The Third Cycle of the ‘People First in Different Geographies’ Project Has Been Completed in Egypt
Yeşim Group launched the “People First in Different Geographies” project in Türkiye seven years ago and has been implementing it in Egypt for the past three years. The third cycle of the project was completed with a certificate ceremony held for the students of El Mostaqbal Official Language School. The program aimed to foster a culture of volunteering, active citizenship, and sustainability awareness among young people. Throughout the academic year, students took part in training sessions and hands-on activities designed to strengthen their awareness in these areas.
As part of the program, students also visited Jade Textile facilities to observe production processes and the working environment on site. In addition, sustainability awareness training sessions, tree-planting activities, clothing recycling initiatives, and creative workshops were organized to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living habits. Through projects that support young people’s awareness of social, environmental, and societal issues, Yeşim Group and Jade Textile continue to contribute to sustainable development in every geography where they operate.
