Yeşim Group Hosts BCI Traceability Meeting
Yeşim Group hosted Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) members, suppliers, and producers at its Bursa headquarters for a meeting focused on BCI’s new physical traceability and certification system. The half-day event, led by BCI Membership and Supply Chain Manager Şeyma Karacay Lokmacı and Senior Supply Chain & Traceability Coordinator Erkan Eyüboğlu, brought together representatives from BCI member companies in Bursa, supplier firms, and manufacturers to exchange insights on strengthening transparency and traceability in the textile supply chain.
Opening the event, Yeşim Group Sustainability Director Mutlu Toksöz emphasized that transparency and traceability are key pillars of Yeşim Group’s sustainable production strategy. During the program, Yeşim Group Traceability Group Leader Sevim Aşıktoprak also shared the company’s experiences from the certification process, underlining how it reinforces the culture of transparency across all operations. Having recently received the “Better Cotton Chain of Custody” certificate, Yeşim Group continues to advance its holistic approach to sustainability by implementing global standards at every stage—from fabric production to the finished product.
