Yeşim Group Brings Together Youth and Civil Society at Volunteering Summit
Yeşim Group organized the Volunteering Summit as part of International Volunteer Day on 5 December, bringing together partner schools involved in the People First in Different Geographies project and the civil society organizations it collaborates with. Hosted by the Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, the summit aimed to promote a culture of volunteering among young people and brought together approximately 250 students from five different high schools with organizations actively working in the field of social responsibility and volunteering.
During the two-session program, moderated by Prof. Dr. Rüyam Küçüksüleymanoğlu from Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Education, representatives of leading civil society organizations introduced their areas of work and shared insights into volunteering and social impact initiatives. The summit provided students with the opportunity to directly engage with civil society actors, explore potential volunteering pathways, and develop greater awareness of social responsibility in line with Yeşim Group’s People First philosophy.
